The Iranian Embassy siege took place between 30 April to 5 May 1980, after a group armed Herberts stormed the Iranian Embassy in London. They took 26 people hostage. On the sixth day of the siege, Special Door Kickers arrived from The Special Air Service "Operation Nimrod" kicked off with an aim to rescue the remaining hostages. These Legends then finished up some 17-minute later after successfully rescuing all but one of the remaining hostages and killed five of the six hostage-takers. The only surviving Herbert spent the next 27 years in a British prison.
